ABOUT SYNTAX PRACTICE PARTNERS

Practice Infrastructure
Built from the Inside Out.

We combine hands-on clinic floor experience with executive operational systems to build sustainable, high-performing pediatric practices.

Meet Carolyn Alvarez
Founder & Lead Consultant, Syntax Practice Partners

I built Syntax Practice Partners on a simple premise: a pediatric therapy practice cannot deliver exceptional clinical care if its operational foundation is broken.

With nearly a decade of experience directing operations inside high-volume pediatric practices, I have seen firsthand the friction that occurs when clinical passion collides with business reality. I founded Syntax specifically for the clinician-owner. Many brilliant therapists start a practice because they love patient care, only to find themselves overwhelmed by HR compliance, billing disputes, and scheduling bottlenecks.

Before founding Syntax, I served as Director of Operations for a leading multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic. In that role, I went beyond daily triage to build the actual infrastructure. I managed employee lifecycles, designed tiered provider contracts, mitigated compliance risks, and oversaw complex billing systems and EMR platforms.

My core expertise is translation. I connect the dots between non-clinical owners focused on margins and clinical providers focused on patient outcomes. Because I understand how the operational gears turn, I help practice leaders step completely out of the administrative weeds.

At Syntax Practice Partners, I help pediatric therapy clinics eliminate friction. Whether you need to structure your HR policies, streamline administrative workflows, or hand off day-to-day practice management, I partner with you to build a system that runs smoothly. That way, you can get back to the care you love.
